Join me and embark on a journey of self-discovery through a harmonious blended combination of Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Dru, Zen meditation, and mindful breathwork. Each class is thoughtfully designed to release tension, embrace the present moment, and cultivate awareness of both body and emotions.
Whether you choose the dynamic flow of Mat Yoga or the supportive postures of Chair Yoga, all levels are welcomed to flow, stretch, breathe, and find peace together.
Rutherglen Yoga offers two types of yoga classes – Mat Yoga and Chair Yoga.

Mat Yoga
A gentle practice for body and mind.
Easy flow yoga is the perfect class for both beginners and experienced participants as it is performed at a slower pace with more time for relaxation.
Classes include a mixture of meditation, breath-work and energising movement
Benefits: helps the body to get stronger, muscles become more flexible and provides physical, emotional and mental balance. Is shown to aid in pain relief, reduce stress, relieve depression, and improve sleep quality.

Mat Yoga – Class Details
Enjoy a calming, relaxing and intimate 1.5 hour class – maximum 12 participants per class.
Weekly classes held during the Victorian School Term.
Class structure

15 minute body warm up with gentle stretching.

45 minute gentle guided movement with breath work.

30 minutes positioned on the floor as you experience deep relaxation / meditation to heighten the benefits of this yoga practice.
Suitable for:

Beginners and experienced yoga participants.

Must be able to get up from a lying down position.

All age groups and genders.

Mat Yoga – Term Pricing & Packages
(Note: yoga mats are provided for these classes)

Community Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga – Class Details
60 Minute Class
Class structure
Begin the 60-minute chair yoga class with a warm and friendly welcome, followed by a gentle warm-up to ease into movement and strength. Enjoy calming breathing exercises, soothing stretches, and a peaceful meditation, ending with light stretches and a heartfelt closing.

Tips when preparing for yoga
What to wear:

Comfortable clothing – not too tight or too loose. You need to be able to move freely without clothing hindering or restricting movement.

Bare feet is recommended during the class
